Our otter needs a name

We're building a brand-new clinic at Renfrew & East 10th, and before the doors open we need the neighbourhood's help with something important: the little otter on our logo still doesn't have a name! Send us your best idea. If we pick it, the prize is yours.

Contest rules

  • No purchase necessary. The contest is open to residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of majority; younger otter fans can enter with a parent or guardian's permission and contact details.
  • Entries are accepted until 11:59 p.m. PT on January 31, 2027. One entry per person. Employees and contractors of Renfrew Family Dental and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
  • The winning name will be chosen by the Renfrew Family Dental team from all eligible entries. If more than one person suggests the winning name, the earliest entry wins. We may decline names that are trademarked, inappropriate, or otherwise unusable.
  • There is one prize: a $300 gift card, awarded to the entrant behind the winning name. The selected winner will be contacted by email and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to receive the prize. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if needed.
  • By entering, you grant Renfrew Family Dental the right to use the suggested name for its mascot. We will not name the winner publicly unless they tell us they'd like the credit. Entry information is handled as described in our privacy policy, and joining the opening list is optional and never required to enter or win.
